PCB Assembly Component Quantities and Overages: Ensuring Smooth Project Execution

To prevent delays in PCB assembly projects, it is crucial to order adequate quantities of components, including extra units to account for potential attrition and breakages. Important Note: For 01005 SMD sizes, manufacturers like Murata and TDK supply 4 mm tape widths. However, most standard cassette feeders are designed for 8 mm tapes, making 4 mm tapes incompatible. We recommend avoiding 4 mm width tapes to ensure compatibility with assembly equipment.
